About The Register
The UKIMPR brings together eligible healthcare practitioner's who have undertaken training in the use of Medicinal Mushrooms. The register is open to GPs, Naturopaths, Nutritional Therapists, Medical Herbalists and certain Traditional Herbalists and TCM practitioners. Our members have completed a recognised training pathway in the clinical use of medicinal mushrooms in addition to their core medical qualification / training.
The register promotes the use of mycotherapy within an integrative healthcare context, and advocates a patient centered approach at all times. Members undertake that they will only use medicinal mushrooms with patients or clients, within the scope and area of their core discipline and expertise.
